A place to play together
I led game and UX design, game direction and art direction for a social, hyper-realistic tabletop platform. Chess, backgammon and checkers were brought into a shared space with multiplayer, spectators and voice chat.

The interface belongs in the world
World-space-first design and diegetic interfaces made interactions part of the game environment. That approach also helped the platform transition to Tilt Five augmented reality with its core interactions intact.
Building a believable world
I directed scene design, mentored the art team and worked through technical challenges in real-time synchronisation, voice and platform stability. PBR materials and ray tracing supported the visual fidelity. The project also explored an NFT system with more than 43 million possible chess-piece variants and a streaming version for GeForce NOW.
